Looking for Guidance on Placement

Hello Joanne-

My son, 18, attempted suicide last December. He is currently at Kids Peace,

Orefield, Pa but I expect him to be discharged sometime in the next few

weeks. I am looking for good recommendations for placements where he will

get the appropriate therapy he needs.

He is diagnosed with depression and anxiety, and has not reacted well to

many medications.

I am looking at programs, local as well a out west, but not sure what might

work, and what would be appropriate. Does anyone know anything about all of

the programs in Aspen Education system? Or does anyone have any experience

with Therapeutic Wilderness Programs? Can anyone recommend good programs in

NJ or local to NJ>

I feel as if I am running out of time, and whatever program he goes to next

will be one that will be critical to help him turn his life around.
