Guest guest
Thanks, ! I will switch to the Vitamin World today and see how they do. I will let you know. The fish oils and vitamin E has made a tremendous difference in many ways. Maybe a better brand will really kick things in gear. I appreciate it. Dana and Garrett, just turned 4, SCD 2 years Celiac, ASD, Speech and Motor Apraxia, sensory processing disorder " Didn't Dr. say no more than 200 iu per day for true celiacs? " 's answer: " ????? No, never commented on vit E for celiac. Given fat malabsorption they may need higher doses. Up to 1500 iu/day is OK. " Sent via BlackBerry by AT & T And here's ph's reaction on Unique E (I don't know the source of the high gamma Vitamin World but as says most vitamin E is derived from soy) She also saw a regression on Unique E. Hmmm. " There are changes with brand of vit e. The soy E doesn’t seem to work as well. I don’t know what the vit E source is…since typically it comes from soy. ph was on Unique E for < 1 week before I switch back. I noticed a difference in the wrong direction. But also some of the other vit E are alpha tocopherol-acetate as opposed to alpha tocopherol. The acetate form needs to be broken down in the gut to be bioavailable… and kids with GI inflammation may not have the ability to do this. So not a good form for many apraxic kids with food allergies, gluten sensitivity or any GI symptoms/increased gut permeability. All theoretical, backed up by a few occasional cases where this difference was caught. - " Also thought I'd mention that just raised pah up to a 4th dosage of fish oils (didn't change the E) and saw another surge. =====
