He has not been diagnosed with apraxia, however several doctors have said it sounds like apraxia. We go for a complete evaluation on the 16th and will get a diagnosis if they see fit. Anyway, I am trying to find downloadable/printable worksheets, workbooks, activity sheets, etc that are used with preschooler-aged children. Any information is appreciated! Thank you! Guest guest
Try googling Click Schooling. You can have an email sent to you each day with websites for homeschooling activities. Not all of them will be appropriate for pre school age, but many are. I have gotten some good things from it to use during the summer, or to reinforce what is being taught at school. Guest guest
Hi. Here are some of our sites that might get you started. I haven't begun homeschooling my little one - he just turned 3. But I have been homeschooling my 11 yr old for about a year now. We actually unschool, but we do quite a lot of activities online and have used these sites. Some of them may not apply to your preschooler yet, but may lead you to sites that do. And a couple are unschooling sites, but have great activity suggestions. If you want more, let me know. I have tons! http://www.hummingbirded.com/ <http://www.hummingbirded.com/> http://homeschooling.gomilpitas.com/articles/090497.htm <http://homeschooling.gomilpitas.com/articles/090497.htm> http://funschool.kaboose.com/preschool/index.html <http://funschool.kaboose.com/preschool/index.html> http://www.education.com/grade/kindergarten/ <http://www.education.com/grade/kindergarten/> http://www.happychild.org.uk/ <http://www.happychild.org.uk/> http://blackdog.net/index.html <http://blackdog.net/index.html> http://www.sitesforparents.com/index.html <http://www.sitesforparents.com/index.html> http://joyfullyrejoycing.com/ <http://joyfullyrejoycing.com/> http://www.toadhaven.com/index.html <http://www.toadhaven.com/index.html> http://www.homeschoolradioshows.com/ <http://www.homeschoolradioshows.com/> http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/web_games.htm <http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/web_games.htm>
Guest guest
We love the learning page! The have printable storybooks with activities as well. There's also: http://www.storyplace.org/preschool/other.asp, http://e-learningforkids.org/, TheHighlightsofHomeschooling/ (this one has a couple unit stuides a month that can be used for kids from prek thru 4th grade), http://www.learningplanet.com/index.asp. http://www.homeschoolingadventures.com/preschool.html http://funlessonplans.com/index.htm http://www.tlsbooks.com/preschoolworksheets.htm That's just a few of the links I have. I've always just searched " printable preschool worksheets " and got a bunch of stuff. Also a great site for preschool is http://www.letteroftheweek.com/ it's a whole curriculum planned out on a weekly/daily basis. I usually just include my 3yo in my 6yo's science lessons, read stories and play number, color, and shape games. Check your local library for educational games. Ours just recently openned a section of educational games that you can check out for a week or two. My guys love it!
