Guest guest Posted January 15, 2009 Report Share Posted January 15, 2009 Releasing the Creative Power of People with Disabilities 542/544 Freeman Street - Orange, NJ 07050 January 13, 2009 Arts Unbound Announces an Open Call for Youth Artists Arts Unbound will be hosting an exhibit in its gallery during the month of March featuring works of art made by young artists (through the age of 21) living with disabilities. If you have a mental, physical or developmental disability or if you are a student at Arts Unbound and have created works of art that you are proud of, please contact us at the phone number and address below or submit images of your work online using our web site (www.artsunbound.org) in order that we can make arrangements to see your work and evaluate it for inclusion into the March exhibit. Artwork acceptable for submission includes painting, drawing, collage, assemblage, sculpture, jewelry, graphic design and photography. Each candidate can submit up to 6 pieces of artwork for consideration. Deadline for submission: Arts Unbound must be contacted by the youth artist, family member or agency/school official and artwork submitted online, mailed or dropped off to the Arts Unbound studio by Monday, February 16th. Artists whose work is selected for the exhibit will be notified by Friday, February 20th. Exhibit Information: The March exhibit will open on Friday, March 6th with an evening reception and will run through Monday, March 30th.
