Guest guest
: I suggest using the potty topper that goes on top of the regular toilet. If you use the potty chair they have to get used to two things, not just one. Also, Huggies 4T 5T are good for Day time, the are pull ups, and Goodnights pull ups are over night pull ups. Maybe pull ups would be a start instead of diapers. Jen **************One site keeps you connected to all your email: AOL Mail, Gmail, and Mail. Try it now. Guest guest
And I will ALWAYS tell people to go to Diapers.com and get the Nature Babycare diapers-- they are the ONLY Biodegradeable diapers. They are not only the only ones that are ok for the environment, but they are CHEMICAL FREE 100% Diapers.com In a message dated 12/30/2008 2:09:54 P.M. Guest guest
My 5 yr. old still wears diapers at night and we just get out at Costco and they work great! As far as toilet seats - if you decide to go with over the toilet one - I have the best one. It is a seat that has two seats (a normal sized one and then a child sized one and then the lid - all in one unit. You just flip to whatever lid you want to use. Don't know where you would find it online, but if you are interested - email me and I can find out the info at the store that I bought it at (a local child's store.) Also, I wish that I had a urinal as well -and I found a site that does sell them for children. Here it is: http://www.allchildrensfurniture.com/-Potty-POTTY-KIT-PPP1002.html Boys are horribly messy!!! and I'm so tired of my bathroom smelling like " pee " . Good Luck!!! I am trying to find a better fitting diaper for my 3 yr old, . has mild autism and verbal apraxia plus sensory issues, too. He is a tall little boy and weighs 43 pounds. The largest Huggies that we've been using are just not doing the trick anymore, especially at night. I have been looking into what is next as far as diapers - any ideas? He's not even close to being able to start potty training (although I wish he were). I am going to buy a potty for him - any suggestions on that? I debate whether or not to buy him a little potty or just try to go with a seat for the regular toilet. Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks. Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who replied. I did buy some Goodnights today -- sadly, I ended up with the girl version because that was the ONLY package in 's size. I hope there isn't that much difference! He doesn't care that there are butterflies on his diaper - he doesn't notice these things. I didn't find the Pampers in the size 7 at our little store, but I'm going to Target Friday, so maybe they will have them. I looked at the Nature Babycare diapers and they only go to size 6. I do wish I could use cloth diapers, but I think I'd be doing laundry round the clock as much as pees. But since he is afraid of the washer sounds (again), I'm pretty limited on when I can do laundry. I should have bought stock in diapers a long time ago. has always been a plentiful peepot. And as for the bathroom smelling like pee -- YUCK! I have that same situation. My 11 yr old is a terrible aim. Nothing has worked to improve it. And there is wallpaper in the bathroom - now stinky as well. Thanks again!

Guest guest
Hi , I've found absolutely no difference between the boys'/girls' Goodnights...they both work great! We have 2 1/2 year old boy/girl twins, and they wear whichever kind we have available (neither really minds if it's butterflies or baseballs). :-) I think you'll find the Goodnights work really well for overnight. Good luck! B. From: <pyrgirl66@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Another Potty Training and Diaper Question Date: Wednesday, December 31, 2008, 5:25 PM Thanks to everyone who replied. Guest guest
Thanks, Bek -- that IS worth a try. I am glad you told me. I wish that sizes were universal -- it bugs me that some size 6's are more like 4's and so on. That's for clothes, shoes, everything! I'll give these a try. > > THESE RUN LARGE-- > > The Nature Babycare size 6 fits my friend's physically disabled 9 yr old--I > guarantee they would fit your child as well > > It's worth a try-- > > > bek > > > In a message dated 1/1/2009 11:39:37 A.M.
