Autistic Son with low oxygen saturation issue

Hi, all.

My son has had low oxygen saturation issue since he was born. He

catches cold easily and has been admitted at least once a year to

hospital due to bronchitis, pneumonia, etc. His oxygen level would

drop below 90 when he sleeps when he catches a bad cold even when we

give him nebulizer treatment twice a day every day nowadays. Since he

is autistic, he would not cooperate with the treatment sometimes.

In fact I am with him in the hospital right now. My question is that

whether anybody else on this board have any ideas what other

preventive measures could be taken. My wife and I have been giving

him B12 shots, as well as a vitamin mix from Kirkland for his autism

treatment. They seem to have helped to some extent but not enough for

him to get over the latest cold spell in Florida.
