" The Very Hungry Caterpillar "

by Carle

Hooker

teacher, Musician, educator

Follows the ravenous caterpillar's path as he eats his way through one apple

on Monday, two pears on Tuesday, three plums on Wednesday, and so on,

through cherry pie and sausage - -until he is really fat and has a

stomachache -- I bet you can guess what happens then! The story teaches

the life cycle of a butterfly, counting to 5, the names of the days of the

week, and about different types of food.

Please read testimonial from Community Nursery

Dear ,

I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much everyone enjoyed " The

Very Hungry Caterpillar " when you came to Community Day Nursery last month.

The children were engaged and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it, and

our teachers were just as thrilled and raved about what a wonderful

experience it was. I had to run out before you were finished, so I thought I'd

take a moment to thank you. I do hope that we can have you visit again in

the future. Please keep us on your list and let us know of any new events.

Sincerely,

Porcelli

Assistant Director

Community Day Nursery East Orange, NJ
