Guest guest
I'm not sure that I'm giving my son the right vit e, so I wanted to check with some of you guys on the specifics. My vit e is natural (not synthetic), but does nto specify " high gamma " so I'm assuming it's inadequate. I've called around to two food co ops locally, and checked online, and haven't found the break down of alpha/gamma that I've seen recently posted on this board. From what I'm understanding, 400 I U alpha and 300 mg gamma is recommended or 400 IU alpha, and 440mg gamma..... Can someone recommend a specific brand for the vit. e, and/or direct me to a website that lists the breakdown for the vit e products? One local co op stated that one of their products lists 1000 IU of alpha, beta, gamma and delta, but the product did not have the breakdown of the specific levels. Thanks so much for your help. _________________________________________________________________ Need to know the score, the latest news, or you need your Hotmail®-get your " fix " . http://www.msnmobilefix.com/Default.aspx
Guest guest
I wasn't able to find any locally where we used to live. We have a Vitamin Shoppe now and I can find it there. Here's the ones I have used: http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=79195 & catid=1682 & trx=GFI-0-EVGR-4\ 9973 & trxp1=10782 & trxp2=79195 & trxp3=1 & trxp4=5 & btrx=BUY-GFI-0-EVGR-49973 and http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/en/browse/sku_detail.jsp?id=VS-1888 With the drugstore.com one my son takes two of those and one 400 IU 0d-alpha for a total of 800 d-alpha and 400 d-gamma. Unlike others I haven't seen a big difference with the addition of the gamma. It alpha alone seems to have given a boost to both of my kids. My 18 month old is taking just 400 IU d-alpha daily and no gamma. Hope this helps!
