Guest guest
Since some of us deal also with constipation issues with our children, I thought this article (link below)I stumbled upon, might be of interest. It lists items that don't interact well with omega 3. It states: Interactions and Depletions Interactions mineral oil Olestra containing products chitosan orlistat Bile acid sequestrant Since from time to time, we have used mineral oil with our daughter, I was interested in this. Regarding mineral oil, it is stated: " Mineral oil decreases the absorption of fat-soluble nutrients, such as omega-3, from the digestive tract. It is recommended not to take these agents at the same time. " The link to the article is: http://articles.directorym.com/Fish_Oil- a853009.html I have never been on this site before, so not sure of the accuracy, just passing it on.
