Children's Hospital in DC has good neurologists on staff.  town has an

autism and communications disorders team though I believe that's mainly for

evaluations.  I think Kennedy Krieger also has an autism program.

My son is 5 with dx of Autism, Apraxia of Speech, Dyspraxia, SID, ADHD,

and Hirschsprung' s Disease. We are being referred to Neurology for

evaluation and was wondering if any has any recommendations. We are

military, so we will likely have to see a provider that accepts

Is it possible for you to go to bethesda or walter reed?we used both when we

The Kennedy Krieger Institute at s Hopkins in Baltimore is known

(as far as I know) for its autism + metabolic neurology work. If

you're interested, you can check their website.

Otherwise, I would try town University Medical Center or call

NIH (look online to get the name of the appropriate department) to get

some recommendations. Sorry, though I grew up there I have no

first-hand experience in that arena.
