Guest guest
hello there, My son is going to be 4 in about a week. He has Apraxia, and it is quite severe. He has about 15 words and maybe 2 two word sentences. He has been to see the neurologist, and so far nothing there but Apraxia. There are a few more tests we are waiting on but honestly I don't expect much to come of it. He " wasn't progressing " in NIPP so we are trying special day class. I don't expect that will work, but he is loving it!! He loves going to school with his backpack just like sister. (Sister is in Kindergarden) I do have him in privete therapy as well and that is where he thrives the most. He is doing 24 piece puzzles already, up to 48 for the challenge now. And the latest thing is sequencing events. Right now I am looking for ways to encourage that, but am having trouble since he can't talk.
