Guest guest
OK, so my son turns 3 in the beginning of May. We have been fighting for services for my son since he was 18 months old. I can't even begin to tell you ALL the things early intervention has done wrong. We are at the end of our rope, and refused to sign the latest version of the IFSP. Has anyone gone to due process during the IFSP process? Was it worth it? Can you sign the IFSP and refuse those services you are not in agreement with, and still proceed with due process? We have a call into our advocate and a special ed lawyer, but I want to hear first hand stories. There are a lot of groups and resources for IEPs, but not a lot about IFSPs. If anyone wants to know the whole story, they can read most of it on my blog, but I didn't want to share all the details here. Thanks in advance for your help!
