Hi can anyone advise me? I live in the UK and am having a hard time finding a

lab that will analyse acetyl carnitine levels. Here the only test seems to be

for total and free levels in plasma. I remember suggested testing all 3

levels but would total and free give an accurate enough level to obtain a

correct script from an MD?.

mom to Nic, 12 hypotonia, kyphotic spine, dyspraxia, DSI, APD, sem-prag lang.

Thanks, how long typically do you wait to see if it's okay to increase

the dosage? Right now, he's done 250 mg and there's been no adverse

reaction after a week.

If you notice that it is helping, you can try increasing it and see if

you notice more improvement. But, if he is doing well with the

current dose, you can decide to just keep that dose.
