Enclosed is more information regarding the Summer S.P.E.A.K. (Speech Praxis

Experience at Kaufman) Intensive Program With Kaufman.

We will be there during the July session.

During the summer months, is able to see children intensively, for a

period of 3 weeks. The program runs Monday-Thursday. Each day, the child is seen

for (2) half-hour individual sessions as well as group sessions during the week.

Please note that we would first need to determine if the child is a candidate

for this approach, preferably via an in-person evaluation held at our center.

During their time here at the KCC, many families choose to receive occupational

therapy services as well (this would be an additional cost). Oftentimes, kids

with apraxia of speech will benefit from oral-motor, fine-motor, and even

sensory integration techniques. We will arrange an individualized schedule for

each child during the time that you are here. We also offer 4-day intensive

programswith throughout the year. We will provide you with a list of
