Transition Planning

Student Voices of Self-Advocacy

Featured Speakers:

Vazquez & Nevin

Self-determination is a critical component in transition planning for

students with disabilities. Students need to participate in the process as

decision makers, problem solvers, and self-advocates.

Come hear from students with disabilities about key elements of the

transition planning process. Student presenters will share their successes

as well as lessons learned.

Small group sessions will provide students and their families an opportunity

to review tools that assist students in planning for their own transition to

adult life.
