Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone had a similar child to see what therapy or combination of therapy methods worked for you. My daughter Evoni is 19 months old and has no babbling (gained and lost " ma " and " da-da " throughout the last year), now mostly she just has " mmm " or open vowel sounds; she does not point at things or mimic speech; she is just starting to mimic banging on a table and very, very basic getsures, but inconsistently. She loves looking at books and swaying to music (it's almost hypnotic). She has some sensory issues, craving deeper pressure, swinging, roughhousing. Any advice, even if your situation's not quite the same would be appreicated. I am preparing to " educate " my EI service coordinator -- armed with 's incredible book.
