visitation hearing

I have a hearing on Monday regarding the visitation issues with the

children. I would like you to pray for the Judge to use wisdom and

take measures to ensure their safety when they are with their father,

who has a medical condition that impairs his judgment as well as

causes him to lose muscle control, become disoriented, become

belligerent, pass out, go into a coma, and even die. A 3 year old and

a 4 year old w/ a disability cannot fend for themselves under such

circumstances. I'm not sure at what age they could.

To complicate matters further, my son has Dyspraxia (in addition to

other things), a condition that interferes with his ability to learn

language, speak properly, form appropriate social interactions, and

communicate in general. It also cause him to be impulsive. If he wakes

up at 2 a.m. and can open the bathroom door, it may not occur to him

to ask someone to give him a bath; he will just take one. If he can

open the door or window, he may make his way down to the local pool to

go swimming without telling anyone where he is going. Putting his

safety in the hands of someone who does not rouse easily is not a wise

thing to do.

If I had stronger faith, I would just pray for the safety of my

children, especially when they are with their father. But I lack such

faith and ask to borrow yours.

Please pray for us.

Thank you!
