common cause.

That's a really interesting article. Definitely a different perspective on

all our situations with having to wade through the school system. Although I

disagree with the last sentence. Its really good.

WOW-- If I wasn't so busy with my son in the hospital right now, Mo-- I

would really let you have it on this post.

You are HIGHLY ignorant in what you're saying.

There are hundreds and thousands of people who believe it is THEIR God-

given right and privilege to be the ones who are responsible for the children

they have given birth to-- and have chosen to home school BECAUSE of that God-

given right.

As a home schooler-- I am offended that you would even bring something like

this to the loop here. And weren't you the one complaining about Gaby's posts

that were ON TOPIC and yet you bring something that is OFF TOPIC such as this

nature, and you think it's ok?

You need some educating on what home schooling is and what home schoolers

are about-- because we have not " abandoned " the school system-- the school

system has abandoned our children! Think about it-- and get realistic here for

a

moment-- but the school system, WHEN IN THE HANDS OF THE LOCAL PARENTS can

be a good thing-- but that time is long gone and the system is in the hands of

the GOVERNMENT and the government has no rights over me, the parent.

Gosh-- I wish I had more time to deal with this email from an EDUCATIONAL

point of view rather than just my annoyance--

Becky

I didn't want to start an argument being new to the group but I had to
