Would nortic naturals ever consider formulating a capsule in the dosage that

appears to work for apraxia--it doesn't appear that these can " hurt " anyone so I

wonder if they could try it out??www.norticnaturals.com.? 1 (800) 622-2544IT

WOULD BE GREAT IF ALL THE CONFUSION WAS BOTTLED UP FOR US--------Original

Subject: [ ] Re: fish oil question

Tara don't feed bad -they all look the same on a quick glance! Here's the

difference -the ProEFA or omega369 are Omega 3/6 formulas -meaning they have

both the EPA and DHA (Omega 3s)from fish as well as the GLA (Omega 6) from

borage seed oil. The ProEPA is a pure Omega 3 with just the EPA and DHA.

In our group I found the formulas higher in EPA to DHA with a bit of GLA to be

the best for my son and for the past decade most others found the same. If you

are going to increase the Omega 3 -I found it's best not to try to raise the DHA

-but to raise instead the EPA.

http://www.cherab.org/information/historyEFA.html

This is just approximate formulas for both -but they too are very different.

I'll explain why I say approximate:

Below is one capsule each per US standards -they now use another method non US

method of testing that makes it hard to compare apples to apples here in the US

- but the formula didn't change -just appears that way- I know -makes it more

confusing!

ProEFA or Omega369

DHA 100 mg

EPA 150 mg

GLA 30 mg

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ProEPA or EPA
EPA 425 mg
DHA 100 mg
So as you can see -while the bottles and the capsules may appear to look alike
-when you examine them -they are very different formulas!
ProEFA -90 capsules per bottle
Omega369 -60 capsules per bottle
