Bernice,

You ARE actually giving him the EFA - ProEFA and Complete Omega 369

are the EXACT same thing, just packaged differently. If you are

using the liquid, I believe that it has less ingredients per serving

than the capsules. That being said, you could up it up to a whole

teaspoon and then in a couiple of weeks, add the EPA/ProEPA (again,

both are the came thing, just packaged differently) .

:)

Hope this helps...we noticed a surge both when we upped the EFA to 2

caps a day and then added the one cap of EPA. She has also started

pursing her lips and tried to blow a cotton ball last night, which

is a HUGE milestone for us!

for a little over two mths now i have seen a difference but I always

would love some more =)  What else should I add to it should i give

him the EFA?  or anything else

No problem...that's why we are here!

I am new too, but for some reason, it just clicked with me.  What I can't

understand is the mg/IU measurements for Vitamin E!

Hi ,

I just recently got this and i hope I'm right. d-alpha is measured in IU an the

gamma is measure in mg. The ratio is considered 1:1 if the gamma is about half

or a little more than half of the d-alpha IU.  For example my vitamin e has

400IU d-alpha and 270 mg of gamma and on the front it says this is a 1:1 ratio,

Hope this helps.

Elena--mom to Ziana, age 4 apraxic but otherwise a happy healthy child and

improving everyday, now that appropriate PROMPT, diet/supplements have all been

implemented.

You are correct in that the liquid is higher:

1 tsp Liquid ProEFA:

EPA = 675MG

DHA = 450mg

GLA = 165mg

2 capsules ProEFA:

EPA = 270mg

DHA = 180mg

GLA = 66mg

I think that said something about giving 1/4 or 1/2 tsp of the liquid.

Also remember that the liquid has a very short shelf life compared to the

capsules.

That could have been me...I think that I posted I thought that the liquid was

less...that's why I looked into it to make sure.  :)  I was WRONG when I thought

it was less!  My brain fails more and more each day...maybe I should start

taking the fish oil, too!  HA HA!
