Guest guest
Not exactly in your area, but there are some wonderful OT's with a sensory gym in Hoboken, Wee Care Occupational Therapy. There is a parking lot in the back of the building and metered parking in front. The website is www.weecareot.com. My daughter has apraxia, mild hypotonia, sensory issues (fine motor delays), she's 6 now. We started individual OT with Marty (the owner) when my daughter was 3 1/2. She is wonderful at what she does and so knowledgable. I have learned so much from her and she really has helped my daughter so much. Last year we started doing some group therapy there, The Writing Group (Handwriting Without Tears Program), for fine motor and writing improvements and we also worked with Jen and Christi. They are great also!! My daughter also did the therapeutic listening program (Vital Links)throught Weecare OT. Hope that's helpful. (Celia's Mom) > > My son was diagnosed as hypotonia and oral motor apraxia (acctually dyspraxia, I think). He has some sensory issues too, I guess, Sensory Processing Disorder. Could someone recommend an Experienced occupational therapist specialized in sensory integration in NJ? We lived in metuchen, NJ. Thanks. my email is wbetty2006@... >
