Guest guest
The SPEAK capsules are the same size or perhaps a tiny bit larger than the Pro EFA or 369 capsules. They come in a blister pack which is not as easy to dispense as a bottle but I don't have a preference. I'm just letting you know how it arrived. My son chewed the 2 capsules, swallowed the oil, and spit out the 2 empty gelatin capsules. We followed it with a root beer chaser! (The packaging says to give it with something with fat in it and we will work on that. He just ate cream of tomato soup made with 2% milk and that has some fat in it.) I chewed up one myself (I only bought 1 package so that was a a$1.13 capsule!) The orange flavor must be in the capsule because it tasted faintly fishy but light on the tongue like olive oil to my adult palate. After a few minutes had passed I didn't feel the need to drink water like I did with the other fish oils. Maybe the blend is more palatable? When I used to give my son his fish and High Gamma Vitamin E oils in a medicine syringe the vitamin E tasted thick and heavy and not pleasant on my tongue. (It stuck to my tongue and was hard to swallow!) I did not taste this in the one capsule I chewed up. (I chewed the gelatin capsule pretty good and then swallowed it rather than spit it out like my 5yo.) The Vitamin E must be blended in exceptionally well! I am keeping records on a 4x6 index card. I'll post if my son has any surges. His SLP just got her baby to adopt this past weekend so she's taking 2 weeks off for her babymoon! It'll be interesting to note if she notices any differences.
