I wonder what treatment options she meant other than like a surgery or

lasering? Let me know if you find out? Jen

Hi, I just heard about brain mapping from my homeopath. Since this is

a cutting edge technology, it's hard to find a location that can do

this. However, you can learn more about it by researching their

website: www.clearmindcenter.com. You can probably e-mail them to

find a location near you.

If anyone knows of reputable place in Fairfield County, CT to have this

test, please let me know. And, if you've done this test, please

provide any feedback.

Thanks,

Margaret

Kris-

I'm not sure about this and wouldn't know where to send you, but the Neuro

Chiro that we've started seeing with our son, does specific tests on children

and adults to see which hemisphere of the brain is needing the help. I'm

assuming that this is what you're referring to when you say " localize the part

of the brain that was struggling "

He's a Neurological Chiropractor and I believe takes kids 5yrs and older .

I'm pretty sure that they've given his name and information through this list

before--

Dr. Campione (201) 569-0500 give them a call and see if this is

something you're interested in or are talking about

Thanks Bek for the info on the neuro chiropractor and to everyone

else for your info.. I'm still a little fuzzy about brainmapping

versus neuro feedback, but with some research I hope to get some

clarity. It does seem to be alternative b/c traditional my neuro had

no idea where to refer me to, however Boston Childrens Hospital has a

site when I googled it. Thanks again. Kris W

Hi: I did find a provider for the QEEG from my biomed, Dr Neubrander

in Edison, NJ. Dr Neubrander apparently works closely w/ Dr DeFina in

the same building and provides the test there. The facility is called

the Comprehensive Neuroscience Ctr at 100 Menlo Park,Suite 200,

Edison, NJ. Phone # is 732-906-7888. The cost for the testing is

approximately $750. Hope that helps. Kris W My # is 973-680-4776

and I would love to talk more Hildy!
