Guest guest
Here's an interesting article from on-line New Scientist dealing with memory and its debt to proper methylation processes. Because methylation is inhibited in many of our kids (hence the need for methyl-B12 shots), this new discovery by UAB-Birmingham, AL, scientists may help understand the proper operation of methylation and what happens when methylation doesn't work correctly. It appears that methylation helps the brain retain memories. If scientists inject the subject lab rats with methylation inhibitors, the rats do not retain the memories of what just happened to them (in this case, electric shocks given to the lab rats prior to the rats being returned to their cages). Very interesting overall. http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20026845.000-memories-may-be- stored-on-your-dna.html
