Need Insurance Help! 348.30 Encephalopathy Unspecified - is this helpful?

Hi -

So far our insurance (United Healthcare in Texas) is giving us a hard

time about giving us coverage for ABA therapy (applied behavior

analysis).

I just got the diagnosis of 348.30 Encephalopathy, Unspecified.

Is this a helpful diagnosis to have or would it better to have a

diagnosis of PDD-NOS.

Any experience or tips of talking to insurance companies would be

helpful.
