OK so my four year old apraxic son has been watching the Halloween

video for what seems like the thousandth time this week. The

songs are all sung by a woman or a group of kids with an English

accent. One song is called " Don't be Afraid of the Dark " . Every time he

hears this song I hear him talk in his not so quiet " talking to myself "

voice about how they said the word dock and it is supposed to be duck.

(Ok it is supposed to be dark but that is how he says it and no one is

going to tell him differently, especially an English woman on a video,

but that is beside the point.) So today he is singing " Don't be Afraid

of the Dock " . If anyone is listening as we walk around the stores they

are going to wonder what kind of fishing trip we were just on.
