My kids did not tolerate TMG, so start at low dose, maybe 1/4 the recommended dose, and watch for negative reactions. Dana
Guest guest
TMG made my 3 yr. old have constant pasty stools. He did seem to have a spurt with expressive language while on it. But I couldn't keep him on it. I haven't tried it yet with my 4 yr. old son. > Hi!! My 6 yr old has been taking1 tsp. of super nu thera liquid for a few > months. I want to switch her to the caplets. Guest guest
I use the liquid form from Kirkman's. www.kirkmanlabs.com.--Tod > I tried to buy some TMG today at the HFS but found only caplets. > Does it come in powder form? Guest guest
I have only tried the DMG little under-the-tongue dissolving ones. It made my son substantially worse both times we tried it. If the TMG doesn't work, you might find the DMG helpful. Some people do better on that than the TMG. .

My capsules are 175 mg each. My DAN! said to start with one and build up to 6 if he tolerates it. At starting with 1/4 dose, do you mean 1/4 of 1 capsule, or 1/4 of the 6 capsules? >> Is there any supplement/vitamin/mineral/enzyme that > > it should NOT be given with? He better not need more than that! Thanks once again!

Guest guest
Wow, I would love to know what the brand of that sublingual is, my daughter takes an Mb12 sublingual and I'd like to give her all of those things at once instead of separate. Thanks > > A few things about TMG...each time my daughter decided she did not need > TMG anymore and refused to take it within a few days we had rage > reactions that were really bad, after the second time she has now asked > for her TMG each day. He did fine with DMG and it was my understanding that kids who don't do well with one, a lot of times they do better with the other. I'd give the DMG a try. My son required folic acid and carnitine for proper absorption of TMG. It also tended to cause yeast at first. Some kids do better with DMG, altho my son did better with TMG, once those other supps were in place. >>He is very sensitive to B vitamins ~ > makes him hyper. I've moved him up to 900mcg of > Biotin and he's had no headaches so far. Right now it's 400mcg of > Folinic acid and 250mg of Carnitine in the morning. Well, the most folic I ever gave was 40,000mcg 3x per day, but I doubt you would need to go that high. And once I added the carnitine for proper absorption, I was able to rapidly decrease that dose. The most carnitine I gave was 3000mg 3x per day. Dana
Guest guest
Hello all, I just started my son on TMG, the powder form, I tried with water/juice, it does not seem to dissolve at all. Anyone using it, could you please advice. thanks, roopa
Guest guest
Roopa, I use DMG (liquid) and I give w/ folonic acid and B6. B6 calms, as DMG can make too hyper. We never had anything but positive stuff. TMG would have been too much according to my DAN's tests.
