Guest guest
Hello to all, I have been reading posts from this group for about the past six months. My 4yr old daughter has severe verbal apraxia and significant sensory integration dysfuntion. In February she was diagnosed with PDD NOS. I have read on many posts the effectiveness of fish oils and different speech therapies. My daughter has been in speech therapy since she was 20 months old and continues 2 hours per week through the school district as well as private speech therapy. She also received early intervention at the age of 20 months to three years of age and continues through the school district as well. My question is has anyone ever heard of " Neurofeedback " ? I am interested in helping my daughter by whatever means...I am just not familiar with this form of therapy. Supposedly, it is suppose to change your brainwaves. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all,
