Guest guest
I believe it - my nephew's 1st birthday had 13 kids at it - 7 were typical, 6 had delays ranging from learning disabilities, behavioral, autism, global delays... (3 completely different families, and some cousins to each other). It's scary to see how many children I know with delays now. When my son got dx'ed with apraxia, I had never heard of it. Since then, I've met 4 moms with apraxic children through moms groups alone (I won't count the kids in therapy/ school). Obviously, disorders are better classified now than when we were children, but they're also obviously on the rise... > ========== > I have a close friend that all three of her kids are all different places on > the spectrum and her nephew also has it.
