Guest guest
Has anyone ever given a baby any dosage of fish oil supplement? My 2.5 yo daughter is receiving speech therapy for suspected apraxia, and I've begun giving her Nordic Naturals Complete 3-6-9 formula. Now my 10-month old son has refused to nurse and likewise refuses bottles or cups, filled with either formula or even juice. I am only able to sneak in about 6 oz. of formula per day into his cereal, both of which are supplemented with DHA and ARA. I can give him other dairy products too, but I'm worried that he's not going to have the proper amount of EFAs. The label on the supplement for teh Children's version says for age 5+, which obviously, I disregard since I give it to my 2 year old. I was just wondering if anyone had any strong advice or opinions regarding the littlest one taking a small dosage. I'm not even going there with the pediatrician, as you know exactly what spiel they're going to give me.... Thanks!
