My son's speech therapist last year in kindergarten said that she thought he had

apraxia. She didn't explain it very well and because we could understand him

most of the time, we played it down. I'm thinking we were. in denial because he

still is very hard to understand, but only on some words. Others are very clear

He has a neurologist for a seizure disorder and he has down syndrome.

I think we need to ask this year's SLP and the neurologist to give their

opinion. I feel a little silly that I didn't take last year's therapist

seriously.
