My son had a true knot in cord at birth cutting off oxygen to brain,

could any of that be why my son now has verbal apraxia? with every

contraction his oxygen was very low, like in the low teens, I begged the

doctors to do a c-sec but they wouldn't then when he was born with the

true knot they told me that is why he was having problems and good thing

I had to be delivered 5w early or I would have lost him..

His craniostenosis was " mild " it was the metopic (front, forehead)

suture that was closed at birth, he also had plagiocephaly (lopsided

skull) and had to wear a helmet, could any of this cause apraxia? (he

also had torticollis, and hypospadias, can it be related?)

I have so many questions, I had these same questions early on when he

was about 18 months, and I was never given the time of day (some kids

just take longer to talk..blah, blah...), now that he is diagnosed with

apraxia, everyone is listening to me.. I just want to know.. Apparently

the docts we see at Children's healthcare are even doing a study about

the links now so I can't help but wonder what you all have heard..

thanks:)

PS: can someone just tell me what type of Omega 3 or EFA to buy for him

and the dosage.. give me a link to the exact bottle, fluid, etc.. I am

so confused.. please help me..thanks
