Guest guest
http://www.hsdc.org/Patient/Speech/devapraxia.htm This may be a good article to share...it talks about what apraxia is, isn't, and sensory issues. http://www.sensory-processing-disorder.com/problem-behavior-in-the-classroom.htm\ l (long link- may need to copy and paste) On the left of the screen is a menu, you can also click on Behavior Problems. On that page are a lot of other links that may be helpful that you can print. Link info: Problem Behavior In The Classroom: Dealing With Children And Sensory Processing Disorders At School The link above has examples of possible classroom accommodations which may help children remain calm, focused and organized. You can also google Sensory Integration Dysfunction + behavior and find some examples that you could print off for the teacher to read through to help them understand what Sensory Integration Dysfunction is.
