-.....and what about shrieking or screaming when excited ??? my son shrieks when

he watches his favorite dvds like Little einsteins, he gets so revved

up---anyone else out there notice that? our SLP says he can't regulate his

little body due to sensory issues --we have an OT coming soon to the house that

This may be a good article to share...it talks about what apraxia is, isn't, and

sensory issues.

On that page are a lot of other links that may be helpful that you can print.

The link above has examples of possible classroom accommodations which may help

children remain calm, focused and organized.

You can also google Sensory Integration Dysfunction + behavior and find some

examples that you could print off for the teacher to read through to help them

understand what Sensory Integration Dysfunction is.
