Guest guest
I am not familiar with Atlanta Speech school, but I did take my son Landon to Gainesville for private speech sessions once he aged out of Baby's Can't Wait to stay with the SLP. I did a map quest search and s Creek is aproximately 32 miles from Gainesville. I believe they have preschool there at the center also. Guest guest
My daughter is in the stepping stones program and we (especially she) loves it. She has made huge progress in one year, but it gets so difficult to determine what is therapy, school, age, etc. I do not know of anyone in her class that does that kind of commute as that sounds miserable. Unfortunately, I do not know of any resources in your area but perhaps the speech school may. Guest guest
Hello, My daughter, who also has Apraxia, currently attends the Northeast Georgia Speech Center's preschool program in Gainesville (we live in Flowery Branch-South Hall County) and we really love it there. It's a very loving and caring environment. They have a morning program for your daughter's age 3-4 year old's and my daughter (who will turn 5 in April) attends the afternoon 11:30-2:30 program. They also have a summer camp program which macy give you the opportunity to try it out before you decide to commit for the Fall. It's definitely worth visiting, and I-985 is not bad compared to heading down 400 or 85 in rush hour traffic. I can give you more information if you want to call or e-mail me directly. Thanks!
