Guest guest
Does anyone have any advice or good books on this topic? Our 3.5 years old son uses single words more frequently than full sentences and doesn't ask questions or respond to why/where questions. He has some autistic tendences but he is not autistic. We were told that ABA is good for taching autistic kids but wonder if it's any good for kids which speech disorders/ delays. He goes for group speech therapy once a week and we are not going to get it any more frequently (we are lucky we have that much, we are in the UK). Does anyone have worksheets that he could use, we asked the SLT for some advice but received only general tips. Thank you in advance, Kasia
Guest guest
We have used sign language to reinforce using the question words and it has really worked!!!! Once she has started using Can, What, Why, Where etc as a sign the sentences seem to grow.
