Thanks Gabby, but don't you wonder if the children they studied were either

misdiagnosed as autistic or have a duel diagnosis of both autism and apraxia?

It just seems to me that the conditions that have the money get the research and

the awareness. And what does this mean in regards to therapy? If autism is

related to motor planning in anyway- how can one use ABA therapy as it's highly

inappropriate to use behavioral methods of therapy if a child needs motor

planning therapy?

" This suggests children with autism have to recruit and rely on more conscious,

effortful motor planning because they are not able to rely on the cerebellum to

automate tasks. " This is the link from Kennedy Krieger's website

http://www.kennedykrieger.org/kki_news.jsp?pid=7849

I'm reading it and it just sounds like apraxia to me but they used the word

autism instead...or is apraxia really autism now? I mean Radcliffe

probably fits the description of autistic now with his dyspraxia...and if

apraxia/dyspraxia is autism now -then what about those that really have autism

-real autism in the 20 year ago sense - not the kind they call autism today?

Thoughts?
