Hi Everyone,

Only 4 days before the 5th Annual Day in the Sky this Saturday.  This is going

to be a huge and wonderful event this year!

80 nonprofit groups will be hosting booths, 60+ volunteer pilots are already

signed up, 250+ volunteers are expected to join us thru the day, fabulous

entertainment is lined up by Magic Makers and Angels on Stage, free BBQ, games,

science experiments, golf lessons, petting zoo, you name it, we're ROCKING

ville this Saturday.

All flights for kids with special needs are currently full.  But we have plenty

of room at the FREE Festival!

We are opening up the festival to anyone who wants to join us for a ton of fun

in the sun!

The only thing we ask is that people RSVP online so we have an idea who's

coming:   http://www.dayinthesky.org/attend.htm

Day in the Sky is the massive flying event for young people with special needs,

disabilities, at-risk youth, etc. We're in our 5th big year now, and are bigger

and better than ever. We have recruited nearly 60  volunteer pilots who take

about 500 people flying for 30 minute flights, including young people 8-17 with

disabilities + family + friends.

Plus we host a massive ground festival at the airport, complete with tons of

nonprofit groups and vendors and government agencies strutting their stuff to

the appreciative crowds.

Everything is free, including:

·        BBQ for everybody at noon

·        Entertainment throughout the day

·        Science/tech/engineering/math hands on displays

·        A petting zoo for kids of all ages

·        Golf lessons

·        A bounce house

·        Arts and crafts

·        Hot air balloon rides from 6:30am till 9am.

·        And much more!

The festival emphasis is on promoting healthy living,

science/technology/engineering/math (STEM) opportunities for the kids, assistive

technologies and accessible events.

Please sign up online to attend the festival:
