Creating Agreement Train the Trainer

Parents, educators, administrators, Child Study Team members, and others are

invited to join the IDEA Partnership at NASDSE, CADRE, and the Statewide

Parent Advocacy Network, along with other national organizations, in a

full-day train the trainer on helping parents and professionals " create

agreement " and avoid, minimize, or appropriately address, conflict in

IFSP/EP processes.

· Explore the benefits and challenges of parent-professional

collaboration in the IFSP and IEP process

· Learn best practices for creating agreement, addressing power

imbalances, and implementing cultural reciprocity in the IFSP and IEP

processes

· Learn how to facilitate Creating Agreement modules developed by a

team of parent centers, general and special educators and administrators,

and others

· Learn how to implement Creating Agreement in your state/community

· Receive a CD chock full of resources including all training

modules, resource guides, & activities for training!
