Guest guest
Hi everyone, I just recently posted about my son's gray like complexion and today I was thinking that maybe it is time to take a supplement break. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions to help with my decision? Do most of you remove all supplements and prescription meds? How long do break and how do you go about adding the supplements back in? Around the same time last year my son had the same complexion problem. I took a break for about two weeks and he had the best two weeks of his life. He looked great! Any thoughts or ideas would help! Guest guest
What type of supplements is your son on? In the old days most of us only used fish oils - and if we stopped our child regressed. My son Tanner is still on fish oils and for him a break within one day shows regression in speech. Neither of my boys are not on any prescription drugs and while I wouldn't hesitate to put either boy on it if necessary; I personally find it irresponsible that some MDs are now experimenting on live children with prescription drugs off label to " treat " autism (or apraxia) etc. Shame. So if that's it -my opinion is find a more conservative doctor and find out how and if you can stop. I'm guessing some of this dangerous stuff can't just be stopped cold turkey -but don't know. Just say no to drugs is an oldie -but to me it still stands. =====
Guest guest
Dayna, I don't know about the supplement removal thing, but per chance does your son have " allergies " (seasonal or otherwise)? When my son was real sick with respiratory problems, he turned gray and actually had raccoon eyes. Looking back from then to now, he looked like he was dying then. We got the appropriate respiratory help and he has not looked like that since. Just a thought, but check the oxygen in the blood (ABG). > > Hi everyone, > > I just recently posted about my son's gray like complexion and today I was thinking that maybe it is time to take a supplement break.
