Guest guest
All four of my children have had sealants and we've never experienced decay under them. My children are ages 5 - 12 years old. My child with Apraxia has really benefitted from them since his teeth are soft. Last June we had to go to the hospital to get 4 cavities filled and 2 stainless steel crowns. Since then he's been cavity free (he also got sealants then)! I think they are a great idea. > > > > > > My kids had the sealants. I wanted them for myself, but they would > not do it. (Some dentists do for adults.) > > They help to prevent tooth decay.
