Antibiotic, and Autism, and Dan supplement alternatives

My 4 year autistic son's speech has deteriorated since he was two. He

has had a lot of health issues and has used antibiotics for

bronchitis, ear infection every other month on the average, if not more.

The use of antibiotics and steroids usually caused him tantrum and I

suspect that it also impaired his speech development since he is

almost completely non-verbal while he said over 30 words in the past

at different times.

We are wondering whether any of you have similar experiences. Also,

our local Dan doctor gave us some supplements such as Vitamin-A and

Zinc to try to give to him before his conditions get really bad but we

have not tried it really hard since we were not sure about how

effective it could be since my son could not tell us when he is

feeling the first symptoms of his cold, or ear infection.
