Hi- I was covered by cigna through work. I read the fine print and apraxia was

excluded and needed a doctor's referral for speech. So I had the doctor write

that it was for oral motor planning disorder and they covered her. The doctor

was fine writing that because that's what it is, but it's not a " trigger " word

the insurance claims people are trained to deny. Not sure of the code - we no

longer have cigna and she's not in private therapy anymore.
