Guest guest
- We see a chiropractor for all of our children (and us, too) on a regular basis. The benefits that we see are primarily in their general health and well-being. I've hear that there are Chiropractors that specialize in neurological disorders, like Apraxia/Dyspraxia, but haven't found one yet becky In a message dated 10/3/2008 2:57:23 P.M. Guest guest
We saw awesome stuff with chiro only to find out later we had adrenal issues which are often helped by chiro. I am told though if you have Chiari malformation Chiro is contraindicated.

Guest guest
I know I am getting in this late, but we see a chiropractor once a week. When Ethan is doing extremely well we go once every two weeks - but, this has helped him tremendously - with sleep, behavior - and all around. If you think about it - chiropractors treat the nervous system - your spinal cord! It makes sense that regular adjustments would help. Making sure that everything is alligned for optimal movement ensures that these kiddos will feel better. When they are already having issues with things not moving along paths smoothly - making sure that you are helping keep those pathways open is great. This treatment can help. Our chiropractor (which is my Uncle), also offers testing of neurotransmitters which looks at all kinds of things going on in E's body. We can get a better idea of what he needs this way. I read in another post for this about adrenal function - testing can be done to look at this. We treat these issues with supplements and regular adjustments. The point is we have seen results with chiro - and I have talked to many other parents that have said similar things. ~ Ethan's Mom Re: [ ] Chiropractic care for Speech Apraxia - We see a chiropractor for all of our children (and us, too) on a regular basis.
