BIG APPLE CIRCUS - CIRCUS OF THE SENSES WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29th 6:30-7:0PM under the Big Top at Lincoln Center Circus of the Senses provides those with vision or hearing impairments and other disabilities an opportunity to experience the excitement of Circus under the Big Top! HELPS (Helping Early Learning and Play Skills) A program for toddlers (18mos - 3-year olds) who are involved in Early Intervention or toddlers with minor delays. Offered on Tuesday or Friday mornings. Tues: 9:30 - 10:30 or 11:00 - 12:00 ~ Fri: 9:30 - 10:30 or 10:45-11:45 Call Terry for more information. You can bring non-perishable food items to ASCF's office on Monday - Fridays 10am - 3pm For more information, go to www.fso-pc.org GRANT OPPORTUNITY for CHILDREN'S HEALTH-RELATED EXPENSES The UnitedHealthcare Children's Foundation (UHCCF) has announced that new grants are available to help children who need critical health care treatment, services, or equipment not covered or not fully covered by their parents' health benefit plans. UHCCF provides grants to families to help pay for child health care services such as speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, prescriptions and medical equipment such as wheelchairs and eyeglasses. Parents and legal guardians may apply for grants up to $5,000 per child. Go to http://uhccf.org for more details and the online application.
