This morning (Decemebr 11th), I turn on NPR in New York and hear a totally pro-vaccine segment on Morning Edition of WNYC FM - Peet and Offit blasting McCarthy and any other Hollywood celebrity and " misguided parents " who are not vaccinating their children because of the " misconception " that vaccines cause autism. They say there was a measles epidemic (135 people) because a group of parents refused to vaccinate their kids and 15 wound up in the hospital with complications. Of course they didn't mention that 1 in 150 kids have autism in this country!! And that most if not all of the kids involved in this " epidemic " are vaccinated kids!!! If you are as outraged as I am, PLEASE take a moment to voice your outrage by sending an e-mail to listenerservices@.... Tell them to correct the imbalance by inviting McCarthyand Barbara Loe Fisher onto the show to tell their side of the story.
