We experienced the same type of thing you are talking about in the beginning

with Ethan. So, we switched to Nordic Naturals DHA only and saw results. You

may want to try DHA - we do the strawberry gels. Every kid is different so it

is worth a try.

I have a son who will be 4 yrs old in June. He has been getting EFA

supplementation since he was about 2. For about 10 months now, I have been

giving him 2 teaspoons of the Nordic Naturals ProEFa along with 2 capsules of

Nordic Naturals ProEPA. I am disappointed to report that I really have not seen

a difference since being on EFA's. A couple months ago, he had a stomach virus

so we didn't give him EFA's for almost 2 weeks. We did not observe any

regression. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions, could I be doing

something wrong? Despite all of the intense speech therapy by PROMPT trained

therapists, we have not been getting any new sounds and intelligiblity is still

extremely poor. He has a good diet and is not on any other meds accept for a

multi-vitamin fluoride which I give at least 10 hours after the EFA's. Any input

would be greatly appreciated.

'Ristal- I would stop giving the multi-vitamin w/fluoride and look for a good

multi that doesn't have that in there.
