Sharon, Does your daughter have kidney reflux? All 3 of my kiddos have it

(oldest was dx at 4yrs; middle DD dx first at 9mos;and my DS was 3 wks). Oldest

DD has had 3 surgeries (2 noninvasive, 1 major) to correct it; middle DD just

got off of the Septra after 6 yrs on it; and my son (who is also apraxic) is

still on Septra (he also has 1 much smaller kidney, which is a big concern). My

girls would always spike high fevers with a UTI (son hasn't had a UTI yet);

that's how I'd know they had a UTI. I always made the drs check the pee

(forgetting about the " normal ear check " - ears were always fine anyway). I

don't know of anyone else in my family that has it, but I'm sure someone did.

One thing our urologist told us was that our 6yr old DD will probably have

problems during pregnancy (UTI/kidney infections). I'm hearing about more

people that have this now. Good luck to you,

Bonnie
