We got one! (Think Ghostbusters! Doesn't that date me?)

I am speechless that we have been granted a $2,800.00 for speech

therapy from United Healthcare Children's Foundation!

When UPS delivered the box this morning I was on the phone with my

husband. I asked him what he ordered laughing that I didn't order

anything!

When I saw who it was from and I saw that a teddy bear was inside I

thought the bear was a consolation prize! LOL!

Our 60 therapy visits per calender year expire this July 31. I

thought I was going to be really tested as a homeschool mom on doing

speech therapy at home totally on my own until January 2009!

My son goes to Beckman and Associates and a mom there spread the news

about this grant. I love her! Don't we moms really take care of each

other's children?

It's ironic that we got $2,800.00 from United as when we had them for

our insurer they denied my son speech therapy!
