Guest guest
Yeah Tim some people are still out of touch with reality ,I get a lot of feedback from other heppers all the time on stuff like this ,I'm at the hospital at least once a week and have endless supply of other hepper thoughts , some stories upset me like this one and some just prove others ignorance and willingness to put their foot in their mouths . So much so I had a shirt made that has Bio-hazard symbol with HCV printed under , just to " jerk some chains so I can feed them real info . Guest guest
OK Moms and too if you're out there! Next week I go in for a parent teacher conference for Shyann. I asked this teacher to watch Inside Edition to get an overview of apraxia, but now I need something in which to give to her to let her better know my child. (She seems very receptive) I am giving her The Late Talker, but I know she has very limited time on her hands so if there is a short You Tube or article for beginers that can help me, Then please can any one help me help Shyann's teacher better understand her. (Not verbally, but understand the obsticles Shyann must face on a daily basis.) Thank you in advance to any one who can help me. If there is something I can show her on the internet or something I can print out that would be helpful. Joy
Guest guest
From all the data I have read they do not know for sure. It is speculative that it could be hereditary or as a result ofor secondary to another illness but the fact is they just don't know for sure! My mom has heartburn issues ( she still has yet to go to a GI for a proper diagnosis ) or acid reflux but I don't have either. I suspect we may never know for sure!  Kim A ________________________________ From: Montoya <medhelpinfo@...> " achalasia " <achalasia > Sent: Monday, June 4, 2012 3:21 PM Subject: Re: New subject  Hi Kim,  Some doctors think there could be a genetic link to achalasia....but they just don't know for sure exactly....it's still a mystery. Of my closest family members and children, so far none have this condition. As for relatives...they live far away in another country and I just don't know. Am curious though.  Julee ( from Oregon) ________________________________ From: Kim <kimellenbailey@...> " achalasia " <achalasia > Sent: Monday, June 4, 2012 9:40 AM Subject: New subject  Do any of y'all have family that also have esophageal problems? My sister who is a year and half younger than I am told me that food gets " stuck " . No liquid problem yet. She pushes w h20 goes thru like four glasses at a meal. Hmmmmm. Dear hubby is an MD told her get upper GI. She's procrastinating right now as she can make it work.
