We are currently looking for children and adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), including autism, pervasive developmental disorder (PDD), and Asperger’s syndrome to be a part of a research study. The study is being conducted by the Program in Genomics, Developmental Medicine Center , Division of Genetics and Neurology Department of Children’s Hospital Boston. The purpose of the study is to find genes that may influence the development of autism spectrum disorders which hopefully help us develop better ways to diagnose and treat this condition.  Participants must: Be > 18 months of age Have been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD), including autism, pervasive developmental disorder (PDD), and Asperger’s syndrome Be willing to provide a blood or saliva sample Have a parent willing to answer some medical and family history questions There is no cost to participate in this study and there is no need to travel to Boston .  If you would like more information about the study, please contact Carly Grant, at 617-355-9152 or carly.grant@...  Thank you!  Carly Love, Gabby. :0) http://stemcellforautism.blogspot.com/  " I know of nobody who is purely Autistic or purely neurotypical.
